Ceramic Foam Filters are use to filter liquid metal to separate solid and liquid inclusions into it. Foam Filters are supposed to be most effective filtration media and have faster filtration rates. The size and design is selected based on type of metal, flow rate, temperature etc.

Depending on the dimensions, the filters may be available in PPI 15,20, 30 and 40.
